Community Guidelines for the Steinbach & Area Animal Rescue (SAAR)
Welcome to Steinbach Animal Rescue Community!
Our community is a place for supporters, volunteers, and animal lovers to connect, share, and collaborate in a respectful and positive environment. To ensure a productive and welcoming atmosphere, we ask all members to adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Respect and Kindness
- Treat all community members with respect. No harassment, bullying, or discrimination will be tolerated.
- Respect people’s boundaries and privacy. Avoid sharing personal information without consent.
2. Positive and Supportive Environment
- Encourage and support your fellow community members.
- Share stories and experiences that are constructive and beneficial to the community.
3. No Hate Speech or Offensive Content
- Avoid language that is discriminatory, hateful, or harmful towards any group or individual.
- Refrain from posting content that is vulgar, obscene, or otherwise offensive.
4. Stay On Topic
- Keep discussions relevant to animal rescue, care, and welfare.
- Avoid off-topic threads that can derail conversation or are not beneficial to the community’s purpose.
5. No Spam or Self-Promotion
- Self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant links are not allowed.
- Do not use the community for commercial gain.
6. Respect Intellectual Property
- Do not share content that you do not own or have permission to use.
- Always credit the original creator if sharing their work.
7. Reporting Concerns
- If you see something that violates these guidelines, please report it to the moderators.
- We are committed to addressing issues promptly and fairly.
8. Changes to Guidelines
Steinbach Animal Rescue reserves the right to change these guidelines as necessary.
Members will be notified of significant changes.
Enforcement of Guidelines Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in removal from the community, temporary bans, or other disciplinary actions. We are committed to enforcing these rules to maintain a safe and positive environment for everyone.
