Donation Policy for the Area Animal Rescue (SAAR)

1. Purpose of Donations

All donations received by Steinbach & Area Animal Rescue are used to support our mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. This includes, but is not limited to, veterinary care, food, shelter, and operational costs associated with our rescue activities.

2. Use of Funds

We are committed to using donations efficiently and responsibly. While we endeavour to honour the wishes of our donors regarding the use of donated funds, Steinbach & Area Animal Rescue reserves the right to allocate funds to areas where they are most needed.

3. Tax Receipts

As a registered charity, Steinbach & Area Animal Rescue will provide tax receipts for donations as per the regulations of the Canada Revenue Agency. Please ensure your contact information is accurate and complete to receive your tax receipt.

4. Recurring Donations

Recurring donations are charged on a monthly basis. You can change or cancel your recurring donation at any time by contacting us directly.

5. Refund Policy

Donations are generally non-refundable. However, if you have made an error in making your donation or have changed your mind about contributing to Steinbach & Area Animal Rescue, we will honour your request for a refund made within 15 days of your donation.

6. Privacy Policy

Donor privacy is important to us. We will not share your personal information with any third party, except as necessary to process your donation or as required by law.
